What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Clerk position at SBI?
Subterranean Boring is looking for a part-time, in-person Data Entry Clerk and accounting assistant. Subterranean Boring, or SBI, is a dynamic, family-owned mining support business, with a machine shop division, and a real estate division. We are looking for a detail-focused person to support the Accountant, who is able to conduct detailed research, create spreadsheet and reports, and complete various tasks as assigned.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Point person for maintenance, mailing, office supplies, errands
- Data entry for payroll, invoices, and credit cards
- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, especially Excel
- Online research as requested by management
- Coordinate shipping and freight as needed
- Perform special projects as needed
- Filing, phones, general office duties
The Data Entry Clerk will be asked to work three to four days per week for a total of 20 to 25 hours. The individual will be a self-starter and reliable co-worker, with attention to detail and consistency in making entries. Microsoft Office 365 skill and online research capability are requirements. - Monday to Friday
- No weekends
