What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at SBS Group of Companies?
SBS Group of Companies is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to our HR team! The HR Generalist will support our internal organizations along with support of the HR Director, Talent Acquisition Specialist and Admin. The Generalist will manage various duties to create a positive work environment for all SBS employees.
The salary for this role is $55k-$65k per year and operates during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Plan team and culture building activities and events
- Manage rewards programs for employee engagement
- Input new hires into employee data management systems
- Mediate employee relations issues
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (preferably UltiPro)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
