Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Platform Analysts report directly to the ServiceNow Platform Manager and are responsible for gathering requirements, working with the development team, and providing solutions to solve our clients' business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting design and discovery sessions with clients and translating their requirements into enhancements for development, including gathering business requirements, defining use cases, and developing process flows.
- Provide technical oversight of business requirements and ensure the design is accurately translated into a functional solution.
- Develop test cases and participate in unit and user acceptance testing sessions.
- Develop end-user documentation, document team best practices & standards for administration & development.
- Provide general support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and its associated applications.
- Providing end user training and adoption workshops, as well as focus groups on the ServiceNow platform.
- Demonstrate the out-of-the-box capabilities and new features of the ServiceNow Platform.
- Assist in the adoption of new processes and procedures.
- Ensure that the discussion points, decisions, and action items from the meeting are documented accurately.
- Assist the development team with coordination and guidance.
- Take part in the change management process and review proposed changes with the change advisory board (CAB).
- Facilitate daily stand-up (SCRUM) meetings.
- Manage the release process and agile software development lifecycle.
- Organize and take part in sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
- Manage and disburse quarterly release notes to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of ServiceNow Business Analyst experience
- Effectively communicates verbally and in writing.
- Ability to gather and analyze data to create and distribute reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze platform data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of Service Management frameworks such as ITIL
- Ability to translate ServiceNow concepts into context clients can understand.
- Builds positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service/support and consistent communication as appropriate.
- Ability to organize a team to solve a problem.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively resolve conflicts among stakeholders such as clients and internal team members.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with great organizational and time management skills, capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of the features and capabilities of the ServiceNow platform
- Familiar with the Agile methodology with experience and understanding.
- Experience working with Service Portal and UX Analytics
- Experience in monitoring performance, usage, and overall compliance of the platform
- Analyze existing artifacts, documentation, and data to optimize platform support and stability for current and future conditions.
- Ability to travel up to 10% on average.
