Clinical Supervisor / Trainer
Providing ongoing supervision, direction and program implementation to a team of clinicians and family coaches that are implementing a variety of intervention programs that utilize evidenced-based models to children and families that have been impacted by child abuse and neglect. This position is responsible for ensuring effective program outcomes, compliance with accreditation standards, court orders, as well as the Department of Child Services service standards.
This position requires training and certification in the following evidenced-based practices: Family Centered Treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Nurturing Parenting, Parent Coordination, Domestic Violence Services, Motivational Interviewing, and best practices in reunification of children/families.
This is a leadership position within our corporation. Leaders at SCAN are expected to coach, develop, mentor, guide, support and teach staff to instill SCAN’s core values, beliefs, vision and mission related to quality service to families and children, as well as one another.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Pay range $56,000- $64,500
- Oversight of the assigned regional office/staff day to day operations, ensuring quality services to all children and families.
- Oversee program capacity to ensure budgetary expectations are met or exceeded, including but not limited to the following: staffing, referrals and maintaining positive customer service to all agency referral sources.
- Implement effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with program service standards, evidenced-based models, accreditation standards, agency performance quality improvement system and best practices in intervention programs.
- Implement effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure quality outcomes for all programs.
- Ensure effective implementation and documentation of supervisory expectations: including but not limited to the following: individual supervisions, team meetings, and staff trainings.
- Participate in and support staff evaluation, development and training activities to ensure staff accountability in the successful execution of their roles within the agency.
- Ability to effectively implement personnel policies and procedures as outlined in the agency policy manuals.
- Work in tandem with agency and program leaders to complete an annual program evaluation of all programs to assist with annual planning.
- To actively participate in building a strong peer supervisory team with fellow clinical supervisors to develop a high performing clinical department for the agency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrated safe driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Requires flexibility in work schedule, including the need to work occasional evenings and weekends, to support staff in sessions with children/families.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions, to deal with volatile individuals.
- Ability to support staff in client homes that may not have the best living conditions.
- Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets or bend and stoop as necessary.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift office supplies, materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to drive, as well as possess dependable transportation.
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, the employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related human service field.
- Possess Clinical Licensure in the State of Indiana: LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
