Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage the annual marketing advertising calendar, bringing to life the Marketing (MMM) philosophy throughout the Marketing office
• Prepare campaign details, lead meetings with Line Leader office, work with Creative and Strategy leads to determine best in class campaign tactics, and thoroughly recap all campaigns 
• Work across all offices to create and deploy best in class advertising strategies 
• Actively seek opportunities and identify trends to increase sales through analytic-driven recommendations and buying trends 
• Be a liaison between the Marketing office, Line Leader office, Stores, and Ecommerce office to align campaigns and initiatives that support our brand initiatives and product mix 
• Provide, maintain, and summarize weekly and monthly summaries of performance and takeaways that take into consideration all campaigns, promotions, merchandising strategies, and product launches 
• Able to successfully navigate the AS400 and MSFT Excel/Google Sheets to run AS400 Top Sellers, research SKUs, Daily Sales Reports, and Pivot Tables, identify products, categories, and vendors, which are selling well both within Scheels and outside of Scheels 
• Management across campaigns, ensuring what content is aligned with the overall agency message(s) and is relevant, timely, and approved for use
• Passion for the retail space, including finding inspiration from industry resources, leaders, customers, and competitors
• Proven ability to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and across multiple teams, responding with urgency to address all project needs, managing and coordinating projects that are organized and delivered on time
• Strong initiative, vision, and ability to accept and provide feedback for continued improvement
• Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projects
• Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with all SCHEELS associates and customers

Education & Experience:

The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, one to two years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
