As a member of the geotechnical engineering division, you’ll perform a variety of in-office and field tasks. Your main responsibilities are to perform soil, concrete, and masonry tests. ABOUT YOU!
- You'll have earned a GED or Diploma and demonstrate the ability to learn new skills
- You have some experience for special inspections but if not, we will provide the training to obtain your special inspections certification
- You have no problem working on construction sites and laboratory settings
- You will need the ability to pass Federal background checks
- You have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel required to sites in Iowa and Nebraska
- You have demonstrated your ability to work efficiently in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Current eligibility and authorization to work in the United States
- Walk, stand, sit, and move over construction project surfaces in a manner that is not injurious to you or persons near you
- Climb on construction surfaces with proper safety equipment
- Frequently, safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds in a proper manner to not cause injury
