FIELD SERVICE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

To manage the pre-planning and mobilization of all offshore materials, tools, operational spares, people and equipment required for the installation and commissioning of the subsea production system.
Ownership of all OneSubsea rental equipment used in the above activities, ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order from point of receipt on the rig until return to OneSubsea point of departure.
To provide first line operational support and guidance to OneSubsea service personnel undertaking subsea installation & commissioning activities and ensure that OneSubsea service personnel are fully trained & competent to execute these activities safely and in strict accordance with the relevant approved operating procedures and best practices.
To assist our customer with field operation support in accordance with the supplied OneSubsea production system equipment.
Maintain and update relevant operational documentation in support of offshore activities.
Coordinate equipment logistics operations and service support personnel
Document non-conformances in the field via the Quest SQ/PQ Reporting system.
Interface with subcontractors to ensure that offshore activities are met.
Single point of contact for offshore technical queries
Provide input into operational procedures when required.
Managing the offshore execution activities required to support the project schedule, identifying the critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery.
Development of effective working relationships with Customer representative(s)
Identify project changes to the original scope and create Change Requests for approval internally and externally, in order to maximize profit.
Leading the assigned Service team, the Subsea Supervisor will motivate, take accountability for actions taken and develop a team approach.
Undertake regular appraisals of service personnel in conjunction with relevant service department
Provide manning and rental equipment forecasts
Provide utilization reports for rental equipment and personnel
Provide maintenance reports and spares usage of rental equipment
Manage operational spares usage & initiate re-ordering where applicable (Min/Max Levels)
Provide reporting information for both internal and external use (customer specific reports) on a weekly / monthly basis.
Participate in internal or external project review meetings
Travel to offshore location to support Service Team as required
Travel to offshore location to audit Field Service team once a quarter.
Ensure awareness and compliance with the Company Health & Safety regulations.
Raise EWR and liase with Dedicates Design Engineer to provide work, priorities work and insure all technical issues are addressed to meet offshore campaigns
Provide input and direction on all technical matters during installation and commissioning and / or life of field activities, including but not limited to, operating procedures and or limits, equipment performance, design changes, equipment refurbishment, new designs, and engineering investigations.

Minimum Job Qualifications

5-10 years’ experience in a field service and/or lead service role
Ability to follow directions working from verbal instructions, working independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to comply with the facility’s production, quality and safety standards.
Must possess a high degree of initiative, with the ability to be promptly and regularly at work.
Ability to work fluctuating work schedules and extensive work hours required by workloads
Capable of performing a variety of manual assignments/tasks as defined by the critical demands of the job.
Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of product use and limitations
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
Experience in project planning and cost control management will be an advantage.
Problem solving ability.
Commercial awareness.
Leadership skills to include ability to motivate colleagues & team members
Have good foresight, initiative & ability to take accountability for their actions and the team they are supervising.
