Warehouse Manager

About the Job

Schott NYC is looking for an experienced warehouse manager to oversee all warehouse activities. Responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes and ensuring efficiency of day to day activities.

The ideal warehouse manager will have experience with finding, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff both full-time and seasonal. They should have a good deal of experience with WMS systems and be very comfortable with computers and technology. They should have great time management skills and the ability to lead.

Position Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipping, receiving, order picking, returns and warehousing of product with the warehouse team, office staff and management to ensure all customer orders are shipped and processed on time and to customer specifications

· Hire, train, and manage full time team as well as seasonal associates

o Lead Interviewing prospective candidates in conjunction with management to acquire warehouse talent

• Organize and conduct necessary training and engagement activities for the staff during initial onboarding and ongoing basis addressing performance-based issues as needed

· Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations

• Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy

· Maintain a safe work environment

• Manage issues with carriers to ensure the efficient loading and unloading of freight carriers and trailers
• Order and track inventory of warehouse materials based on projected needs
• Act as point person for all warehouse questions and requests including factory production, ecommerce, main office, and management
• Lead on WMS processes and suggest process improvements

Minimum Requirements

· Management experience

· Knowledge of warehouse procedures

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask

· Forklift mastery

· WMS experience

· Bilingual is preferred

· Strong computer skills

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

· RFID experience a plus.

· Apparel experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Warehouse: 4 years (Preferred)
