We’re seeking an Accounting Associate to help us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

What you’ll do:
- Perform accounts payable transaction analysis, account coding, and data entry
- Collect new vendor information and maintain the vendor master file
- Address accounts payable transaction issues and correspond with vendors and internal staff
- Communicate with our Contract Research Organization (CRO) vendors for quarterly accruals
- Work closely with our Therapeutics Group on invoice processing in Coupa, our procurement software
- Maintain Therapeutics Group Project dashboard for expense tracking
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and address expense reporting issues by corresponding with Schrödinger employees
- Coordinate weekly check runs and wire transfers
- Post daily cash activity and process positive pay
- Prepare general ledger account journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in documenting accounting policies and procedures and maintain internal control tools
What you should have:
- A few years of professional accounts payable experience and/or a business degree, with a focus on accounting preferred
- Understanding of accounting software systems and procurement systems, including NetSuite and Coupa, are a plus
- Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Suite are a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
