A medical receptionist would greet and engage with patients & provide a wide range of administrative support for a medical office.
From managing scheduling and organizing files to answering patients’ questions, medical receptionists play a vital role in the provider-patient relationship.
Job Description : -Answering and routing phone calls in accordance with office policies. -Greet and direct all visitors including vendors, clients and customers.
- Registering and scheduling patient / client appointments. -Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Ensure completion of paperwork, sign-in and security procedures. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications : -High School Diploma -Written and verbal communication skills-Customer service-Multitasking and prioritizing-Dependability -3 years of experience-Must have a firm understanding of ICD and CPT codes.
