What are the responsibilities and job description for the Annual Fund Manager position at Science History Institute?
The Science History Institute is currently recruiting for an Annual Fund Manager. The Annual Fund Manager will increase participation in annual giving, move donor constituencies to higher levels of giving, and grow the Institute’s pipeline of prospective annual fund donors. The Annual Fund Manager will collaborate with programming, museum, and library staff to successfully steward event and museum attendees into engaged donor relationships with the Institute.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of development experience managing a portfolio of prospects and donors, or comparable experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven high-level project- and time-management skills
- Experience using relationship-management databases
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with experience managing projects and events
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with project management software
- Ability to engage in domestic and international travel
