Job Summary: The Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for supporting the Account Managers/Sales Representatives for 1-2 territories. They will also support the Customer Support Specialist team, as needed, to ensure outstanding customer service to clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in customer service or sales support.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure while adhering to procedures
- Proficient ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Multi-line phone skills
- Ability to liaise with many different departments
Sales Support Specialist Duties:
- Bookstore liaison, PO procurement, tracking and invoicing
- Creating redemption cards/codes
- Processing bookstore returns
- New Product SKU generation
- Sell through reporting to client
- Faculty interaction; enrollment confirmations
- Teacher resources
- Customer issues resolution
- New business onboarding assistance (student portals, processing proposals, teacher kit requests)
- Sales Forecasting
- Customer Support Specialist backup
- Monitoring incoming leads for Customer Service requests
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
