We are a laboratory supply company, conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington DC. Our company is a market leader, servicing the environmental and analytical testing industries, for over 55 years. Our products are primarily targeted toward a growing laboratory consumables market, but have a wide range of applications, allowing our company to service various different industries, with many avenues for growth.
We are looking for a driven Account Executive to uncover new opportunities and grow business. You’ll be directly responsible for developing new accounts, while managing and expanding business within an existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer satisfaction and a results-driven growth. The goals for this role are to find opportunities within new and existing accounts, and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual benefits.
Responsibilities
- Contact new and existing accounts to uncover opportunities and promote our products and capabilities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to securing a deal
- Present products to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ satisfaction and resolve any issues they may have
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
Skills
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of packaging or scientific laboratory industries is a plus but not required
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A business acumen
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales, marketing, or a scientific field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
