When does the role start?

As soon as we find the right candidate! We’re not in a hurry, but happy to hire tomorrow should the right person apply for the position.

The role:

The core mission of our Payroll Specialist is to ensure people get paid - both accurately, and on time! When we get it wrong, we fix it - asap. Reporting to the payroll manager, the payroll specialist will run one or more multi-state payrolls, either weekly or bi-weekly. These payrolls include a combination of exempt and non-exempt employees.

You’ll work on:

• Processing weekly and biweekly payrolls, internal and external.
• Our largest payroll is weekly, multi-state, and predominantly non-exempt employees.
• Reconciliation of adjustments or amendments after payroll

You should have:

• 2 years of payroll experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly without losing accuracy
• Ridiculous attention to detail
• Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional outcomes

You’ll stand out if you:

• Have a background working in education and/or a high volume temporary staffing company
• High-level excel skills: think pivot tables and v-lookups
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and/or Xero
