- Automation Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for integrating automation within in-house logistics operations at Scout Motors.
- Identify opportunities for automation to optimize efficiency and accuracy in material handling and logistics processes.
- Technology Assessment:
- Evaluate and recommend advanced automation technologies suitable for in-house logistics operations.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in logistics automation within the automotive sector.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage automation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation seamlessly into in-house logistics workflows.
- Collaboration with Suppliers:
- Work closely with automation technology suppliers to assess and select suitable solutions.
- Establish strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of automation systems.
- Data Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyze data related to logistics processes and identify areas for optimization through automation.
- Use data insights to continuously improve and refine automation strategies for enhanced efficiency.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with automation implementation.
- Establish contingency plans to address any unforeseen challenges during the automation deployment phase.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in in-house logistics through the integration of automation.
- Gather feedback and adjust automation systems to optimize performance.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in automotive production and logistics (e.g., standard racks, logistics technic, manually and automated material flow planning Body Shop, JIT/JIS, 3PL incl. contract experience) strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant technology
Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
