What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Screen Works?
Duties
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes
- Support the development and implementation of succession planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong understanding of workforce management principles and practices
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g: ADP) is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with affirmative action planning is preferred
- Knowledge of organization design principles is a plus
