The Gummie Kitchen Tech is responsible for the prep, cooking and bottling of cannabis infused candies. The kitchen tech will help maintain a professional environment and improve efficiency of the overall team.
Education & Experience
- HS diploma or GED
- Food handler card is a bonus but not required
Skills, Abilities & Duties:
- Assemble, track and accurately weigh materials and supplies.
- Clean and maintain equipment and kitchen facility following current good manufacturing practices
- Operate, and maintain, various kitchen equipment.
- Maintain and stock supplies, dispose of waste according to regulatory guidelines, and keep kitchen, storerooms, and working areas immaculate.
- Follow regulatory guidelines to ensure area is compliant with all food safety and sanitation procedures set forth by the State of Missouri DHSS.
- Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the kitchen and document production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Strong math skills, ability to adjust formulations to accommodate different recipes, as well reporting issues that could require remediation.
- Strictly adhere to health and food safety practices applicable to food manufacturing environment.
