Overview
- Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects and the personnel assigned to ensure that goals or objectives of the customer are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Reviews project plan(s) to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
- Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Serve as the Site Safety Officer and ensures all personnel are compliant with safety requirements of their assigned workstation.
Typical Functions
- Confers with daily to outline responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates with Amentum project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule.
- Manages schedules and/or plans as required to meet the requirements of the project.
- Prepares project reports for Amentum management.
- Confers with Amentum project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Completes customer satisfaction surveys and works with Amentum to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Ensures all personnel are accurately recording their time.
- Holds the personnel to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Engineering or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent and 5 years relevant experience applicable in field of operations & maintenance, logistics, or maintenance.
- OSHA Safety Certification desired.
- Machine shop experience is desired.
- Good oral and written communication skills: working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
- Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
- Position may require travel.
