The Seagate* is seeking to add a Payroll Clerk to our administration team. The Payroll Clerk will assist in the processing of payroll, perform related data processing functions related to payroll. This position works closely with HR department. Expectations include providing reliability, ability to meet deadline, ability to work independently, excellent customer service, effective communication and dependable. High level of accuracy and attention to details.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure that all timesheets are approved by managers with no errors
- Maintain payroll and enter payroll data
- Review PAF changes made in the system to ensure accuracy
- Prepare check requests and distributing checks from time to time
- Update payroll spread sheets for all locations
- Provides Payroll Reports as needed
- Setting up new ADP employees on the time clocks as needed
- Work with managers on ADP scheduling
- Perform monthly reconciling benefits and Aflac reports with payroll report from time to time
- Review ACA benefit status changes for employees in the system
- Maintains payroll information by answering questions and requests
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and skills
- FPC or Associate degree
- 2-3 years’ experience with payroll or general accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
- ADP workforce now a plus or some payroll or accounting experience
- Knowledge of federal, state law, payroll taxes

- Must have a flexible schedule includes working long hour when necessary
