The Opportunity:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for the overall success of all local Seamless.AI in-person events. This is a newly created role with an emphasis on researching, managing, and executing all local on-site events and meetings. You will be working with all major stakeholders across Seamless.AI and our Senior Manager of Events to plan, coordinate, and execute our local events with the goal of being the point of contact and ensuring a smooth and seamless event. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Events.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the requirements and expectations for each event
- Own the logistics for internal events and offsites (ex. booking meeting spaces, managing calendar invites, ordering catering, booking dinners, transportation, and supplies management)
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
- Assist culture committee with event planning details
- Manage all on-site event set up, tear down, and follow-up process
- Assist in managing team travel details
- Maintain event budgets
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards
- Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings to the appropriate leadership team
- Assist and support the Senior Manager of Events as needed for events
Skillset:
- Must be comfortable being the Seamless event lead at events
- Experience planning on-site events/meetings in a business environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for growing our company culture through all on-site and off-site events
- Experience working at a technology/SaaS company is a plus
Education and Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as an Event Coordinator
- Must be local to the Columbus, OH area and able to attend all on-site Seamless events and meetings
- Must be very familiar and knowledgeable about the Columbus, OH area in order to be the point of contact for all local events
- Must have experience in the full scope of executing an on-site event, meeting, and/or team gathering
- Ability to partner effectively with Marketing Team to drive awareness and engagement for events
