What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entrance Screener - North Clinic position at Seattle Childrens Hospital?
Overview:
Provides comprehensive entrance health screening for organization. Supports patients, families, visitors, other staff in every aspect of screening. Provides optimum customer services throughout this work. Corresponds and partners with healthcare teams and forwards any/all relevant information as needed surrounding the identified special pathogens, inclusive of, however, not limited to, CoVID-19, Mers-CoV, etc. Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients, and families of all ages.

Requirements
**This position is limited Term - benefits eligible and can last up to 24 months. Base pay is $21.00**
Required Education/Experience: - High School graduate or equivalent. - Two (2) years customer service experience Required Credentials: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (within 3 months of hire) - Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) De-escalation training (within 3 months of hire) Preferred: - Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington - Two or more years of experience in a pediatric health care setting
