Primary Responsibilities
- Greet every person that enters the dealership, help, answer questions and direct clients to their desired department in a professional and friendly fashion.
- Be always present at the front desk or ensure another individual is present in your stead.
- Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.
- Maintain the cash drawer. Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from clients. Make change and issue receipts. Process refunds as necessary. Close repair orders upon payment. Count the till in the morning and prepare the cash drawer for the day.
- Operate the merchant card terminal including evening settlement/detail reporting.
- Answer multi-line telephones in an efficient and professional manner. Maintain a clear understanding of schedules to direct calls. Screen calls and direct them to the correct department.
- Track and distribute license plates for new vehicle sales as needed.
- Maintain the coffee/snack bar: ensure the space is clean and well-stocked. Rotate snacks and dispose of any items past the expiration date. Ensure the coffee machine is functioning as intended and work with vendors to schedule any maintenance or repairs needed.
- Maintain the boutique and waiting area. Clean and organize areas on a regular basis. Ensure clothing is regularly steamed, has appropriate labeling/tagging, and is displayed in a stylish and enticing fashion.
- Compile floor traffic log as directed by sales management. Track “ups”, turn in logs to sales management on a regular basis.
- Stock in vehicles as directed by sales management.
- Complete any extraneous assigned task as directed by management.
- Possess flexibility with schedule. Be able to work weekends and/or evenings and provide coverage for Seattle MINI as direct from management.
