Our expanding company needs an Office Administrator to join our team. If you accept the position, you would oversee operations at our Marina del Rey location.
Responsibilities:
- Answers calls and direct to appropriate office/broker
- Receive clients in the sales office during office business hours
- Manage sales office: cleaning, ordering supplies, sorting mail
- Assist Yacht Brokers with miscellaneous tasks
- Create and post the monthly rotation schedule for the brokers
- Work with incoming email leads and assign appropriately.
- Input leads into Copper
- Organize and manage local boat shows and events.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with Google Suites
- Self-starter that Is comfortable working with a team and independently.
- Able to adapt to change
- Previous experience in an office setting
- Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm Marina Del Rey Sales Office coverage
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing at trade shows.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to walk the docks and climb on and around boats in inventory.
- Full-time: 40 hours
- Starting wage DOE
- Health insurance for employees that work 32 hours per week includes:
- Combined Medical & Vision & Life for employees covered at 100% by Seattle Yachts.
- Dental is voluntary at 50% of employee’s expense
- Medical & Vision, and/or Dental is available for dependents at the employee’s expense.
- Sick Time accrues at 1 hour per 40 hours worked
- PTO Accrued at 1 week per year for your first year, 2 weeks at your second year, 3 weeks at your third
- Paid Holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. $45,000 - $50,000
