As a Temporary Full-Time Assistant Storage Manager at SecureSpace, you will have the opportunity to help people every single day with the life event that brings them to your store. You will be part of a growing and diverse team and help us shape our company as we grow from 30 stores to 150 stores in the next couple of years. Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Storage Manager include (but are not limited to):

  • Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit warranty, moving supplies, and positive reviews
  • Serve and guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
  • Call potential reservations back on the phone to confirm when they’ll be moving into a storage unit.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to existing customers.
  • Daily property walks to check locks, check for cleanliness and upkeep, sweep the property, clean units, ensuring supplies are appropriately stocked, and performing other light maintenance tasks.

Pay Range: $17 - $19 per hour

Requirements of the Assistant Storage Manager:

  • Need to be able to move about the entire 1-acre property (both indoors and outdoors) for customer tours of the facility, to receive, move and restock inventory in boxes up to 50 pounds (on occasion), to position self for inspection and general maintenance tasks, to recognize potential maintenance, safety, and fire issues, and to operate roll-up doors to storage units
  • Willing to do some travel (on occasion) to another location for certain scheduled shift
  • Our office is open on weekends, but we are as flexible as possible with scheduling to help you achieve a great work-life balance.
