Key Job Responsibilities.

· Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure

· Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over

· Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols

· Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities

· Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management

· Testing security systems and, if needed, operating X-ray machines and metal detectors

· Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner

· Performing CPR or first aid when needed

Working with Securida

As a Security Officer with Securida you will be responsible for the security and safety of property and personnel. You will be trained on all site-specific policies and procedures, providing excellent customer service and assisting in emergency response activities as needed.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate professionalism while still enforcing the security and safety rules of the client site they are protecting.

Starting Pay: $16-23 per hour

Skills and Experience Required:

· Military and law enforcement preferred

· Patrolling and surveillance experience

· Customer Service skills will be an added advantage

· Attention to Detail

· Must have good communication skills.

· Should be good in written communication

Security Officer Requirements:

· 18 years of age or older

· A high school diploma or GED required

· Basic computer experience

· Calm, polite, and professional behavior

· Punctual, reliable and self-motivated

· High level customer service

· High level of integrity

· Good work ethic

· Passion to help others

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
