Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
- Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
- Understand and comply with Securitas and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
- Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather.
Securitas Security is looking for Flex Security Officers in and around the Cedar Rapids & Iowa city area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills.

Qualifications we are looking for:
- 18 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License
- Open Availability
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to learn multiple sites.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
