Loan Quality Control & Servicing Support Associate

Description

This position is responsible for supporting the loan quality control and loan servicing functions.

Specific Job Functions:

4. Specific Job Functions

I. Post Closing Quality Control Responsibilities

1. Reviews new loan set up for accuracy of upload of loan information to core system
2. Review loan documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures
3. Reviews and verifies accuracy of customer profile information and identification
4. Images loan documents into data imaging program
5. Order coupon books

II. Loan Servicing Assistant

1. Reviews un-posted item report to correct loan miss-applied loan transactions
2. Performs loan maintenance as applicable and required to keep loan portfolio up to date and accurate
3. Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of auto payment transfers from SFSB accounts or other Bank accounts as applicable to receive proper payment
4. Process payoff requests, lien releases, and paid loan documents
5. Provides additional assistance to the Loan Servicing Administrator during seasonal busy times such as: annual escrow analysis, semi-annual payment of tax payments, and heavy refinance volume
6. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
7. Order/Track appraisal requests for residential processing team

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Banking/loan experience preferred but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Exceptional math and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
