Summary
As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Creative Services Manager is responsible for leading the creative production output for all See Rock City, Inc. brands, ensuring excellent brand presentation in all marketing collateral. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Creative Services Manager is responsible for performing the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Delivers excellent guest service to internal and external customers in line with the organization’s mission, culture, and values.
- Models appropriate guest and partner interaction at all times, displaying the values of the culture of excellence and leading in a manner that serves as an organizational model for the values.
- Provides creative vision, input, and direction and works with the Director to help shape the creative marketing implementation for company brands and locations.
- Works with the Director and other to identify the best methods of communication concepts within ads and collateral and approves final designs and creative.
- Manages the multimedia and marketing content coordination functions, including supervision or subordinate team members.
- Produces and delivers ads across all media types according to established brand platforms, which includes ads for print, digital, display, outdoor, POP, television, and radio.
- Produces marketing collateral, including brochures, rack cards, signage, wayfinding, ticketing, and other items.
- Produces electronic files according to appropriate specifications, necessary to produce final products.
- Oversees and coordinates creative team project management, including execution of projects and managing time/budget parameters.
- Works with vendors and brokers to determine best material options, using Basecamp software to manage projects internally.
- Works with vendors to determine substrates, quantities, cost quotes, turnaround time, and delivery.
- Maintains a wide variety of computer, technical and creative skills, staying abreast and understanding computer programs to complete a wide variety of assignments.
- Uses appropriate technological tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and After Effects to complete assignments.
- Maintains marketing team’s filing convention and is able to organize and update marketing asset library.
- Understands, evaluates, and manages production possibilities and limitations, monetary and technical requirements of various print, media, and collateral production methods.
- Utilizes a wide range of photography, videography, and illustration skills throughout various projects and manages contract photographers and videographers.
- Assists Director and marketing team managers in developing traffic and job flow systems and updates regularly to meet all production deadlines for projects.
- Collaborates throughout projects with the Director, other managers, and the team as a whole, providing and receiving input on constant basis to produce the highest quality work product.
- Adheres to organizational processes and procedures, ensuring these are consistently followed at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in graphic art design in multi-site and/or multi-brand setting a plus.
- Possesses an outgoing, friendly personality and the desire to provide quality service to internal and external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey a conservative and professional image to partners and guests.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, as well as a range of marketing and design software.
- Associate’s or higher degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field required.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of branding and the development/enforcement of brand standards.
- Track record of collaboration and teamwork in marketing environment.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a group of managers, guests, or the general public; read and analyze business correspondence; to develop and write reports.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to travel occasionally.
- Required to regularly use hands and fingers. Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds. Required to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally. Required to walk trail regularly.
