Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift, 3:00 pm to 12 am
Starting Pay $19.00-$21.00
We are seeking a dedicated and quick-learning Customer Service Representative for our 2nd shift operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth interactions between drivers, customers, and warehouse operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Driver Interaction:
- Check-in and check-out drivers promptly and accurately.
- Confirm receipts and manage outbound orders.
- Customer Communication:
- Respond to inquiries and complaints regarding shipments, inventory counts, and work orders.
- Act as the liaison between customers, warehouse, and office teams for account administration, invoicing, and credit changes.
- Clerical Support:
- Generate and process all necessary paperwork for customer work orders.
- Maintain corresponding files, manage reports, and track inventory records.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and operate office equipment and software.
- Scheduling & Reporting:
- Schedule appointments and oversee load status to ensure all orders are completed and closed.
- Resolve issues related to refused products, overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
- Team Collaboration:
- Provide support to senior customer service representatives and assist in training and coaching on customer service functions.
- Coordinate recalls, national holds, and item master maintenance across multiple sites.
- Adherence:
- Follow attendance policies and arrive punctually for assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2-4 years of customer service or related experience, ideally in logistics or warehousing.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Accurate typing and data entry abilities.
- Other Attributes:
- Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work well with challenging customers.
- Understanding of customer-specific needs, including storage and handling requirements.
