Position Title: Behavior Technician
Location: Opportunities available in San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas (including East LA, Montebello, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, Rosemead, Covina, La Puente, Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights, and other surrounding cities)
Pay Rate: $19.00 to $27.00/hour. Mileage reimbursement and drive time are also paid out (at the IRS rate and LA County minimum wage rate, respectively).
What You'll Do: Work one-on-one with children and/or adults in the Autism spectrum. Providing intervention services to children/adults with special needs and their families. Implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), helping them develop the life skills necessary to succeed in their homes, schools, and communities.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability to work at least Mon through Fri from 2pm-7pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm.
- Willingness to drive to client’s homes and schools
- Compassionate, expressive, energetic, very patience, with a love and/or joy for helping others
- Experience working with children/individuals with disabilities 6 months
- Bilingual is a plus!
Meet at least one of the following educational requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, OR
- Currently enrolled in college, completing 12 units, OR
- Completed at least 2 years of college/A.A./A.S degree or higher preferred (current enrollment not required)
- Updated Diploma/transcript on record
Must have:
- Active driver’s license
- Your own vehicle with proof of auto insurance or another reliable means of transportation
Must pass and have clearance with:
- TB test
- DOJ fingerprint
- physical test
- drug test
