The Position
The data analyst I reports directly to the director of operations and is responsible gaining familiarity with all aspects of the technology and field operations at SeekOps. This role collects and manages data locally and in the cloud, diagnoses data ingestion issues, works with Python to assist in data ingestion and more as outlined below.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and manage data locally and in the cloud via SharePoint
- Input and QA data, mark for repair where not meeting current requirements and use prebuilt Python algorithms to automatically correct according to established protocols
- Diagnose data ingestion issues as part of data QA process
- Manipulate Python to assist in data ingestion and retrieval (Stack, Overflow, GitHub)
- Continuously improve automation and processing time
- Generate reports with Data Analyst II and Solutions Engineer and proofread final customer reports
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Possess the ability to work with people at all levels throughout the organization internally and externally
- Experience Microsoft Office user, including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Python, SQL, data visualization tools: ArcGIS, R.
- Detail oriented critical thinker
