Seiler Instrument is seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Coordinator to champion our digital storytelling across all our divisions. You will primarily focus on managing and growing our presence on platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, as well as through YouTube and website blogs. This role requires a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences and showcases the vibrant activities across our Corporate, Careers, Precision Manufacturing, Medical, Planetarium, Geospatial, Design Solutions, and GeoDrones social media pages

Responsibilities
· Content Creation and Strategy:
o Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with our company’s mission and goals.
o Create unique, engaging, and visually captivating content tailored for each social media platform and targeted audience.
o Collaborate closely with each division to highlight success stories, project updates, and insights through various content formats, including videos, blog posts, and infographics.
o Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designers to coordinate with campaign planning and content creation.
o Perform and assist with writing, copywriting, editing, and proofing of marketing materials, web content, social media posts, blogs, e-blasts, press releases, newsletters and online advertising.
· Social Media Management:
o Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
o Monitor social media trends and leverage them to enhance Seiler’s overall digital presence.
o Maintain precise messaging and branding consistency across platforms.
· Analytics and Reporting:
o Utilize analytics tools to track social media engagement and performance, such as number of followers, number of posts, and reach.
o Generate monthly reports detailing the successes and areas for improvement in our social media strategy.
o Assess performance metrics and provide reports to include project and campaign analytics, efficiency metrics, pay-per-click, and overall return on investment for Social Media communications initiatives.
o Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to determine metrics that define success of the position.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment and cohesion in our digital messaging.
o Partner with the sales and marketing teams to amplify product launches and other significant events.
o Input and audit social media campaign data for accuracy in ROI reporting.
o Collaborate with team leads from sales and marketing to highlight product launches, drive event attendance, and raise community/membership awareness for exhibitions and sponsorships, working with marketing teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
· Educational Background
o Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
· Professional Experience
o 2-3 years of relevant experience in social media management or a similar role.
o Previous work in an e-commerce business, start-up, or agency managing online strategies and marketing channels is desirable.
o Proven experience with audience and buyer persona research.
· Technical Skills
o Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
o Familiarity with WordPress for web design and publishing.
o Competency in Adobe Creative Cloud and basic graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Canva.
o Understanding of SEO principles and web traffic metrics; experience in blogging and SEO will be considered a plus.
o Capability to analyze and interpret web metrics and digital analytics.
· Marketing & Analytical Skills
o Experience in email marketing and marketing automation programs.
o Excellent understanding of social media best practices.
o Proficient in translating insights derived from analytics into actionable strategies.

o Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the professional domain.
o Responsive Communication: Demonstrated ability to respond promptly and effectively to inquiries and requests from both peers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
o Outreach Proficiency: Experience with effectively engaging KOLs through various communication channels, fostering positive and authentic connections.
