Primary Functions
- Process survey data and create boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
- Work closely with technical staff to provide survey consulting services for a variety of clients, local municipalities, and private utility companies.
- Interact daily with multi-disciplinary and multi-office teams and with other consultants to complete projects on schedule and within budget for the DOT and Rail markets.
- Assist engineering/sales department to update standards, details, and associated graphics related to AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Automate the layouts & sheets related to AutoCAD or MicroStation as per DOT requirements.
- 3 plus years of relevant experience as a Survey CAD Tech using AutoCAD Civil 3d or MicroStation to complete drafting and extraction drawings.
- Working knowledge of surveying techniques, preferably using Robotic Total Station, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), and Terrestrial Laser Scanning.
- Strong Communications skills to work with internal and external teams as needed.
