The salary range for this position is between $40,000-$65,000 annually, depending on location, relevant skills, and years of experience.
Position Overview - Recruiter
The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of our clients. The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment life cycle, including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to internal Client Managers to review and provide to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sources and attracts active and passive candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Reviews resumes and conducts initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications.
- Conducts in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Prepares and presents candidate profiles to practice leaders, account managers or client managers for review and presentment to the customer.
- Coordinates and schedules interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conducts reference checks and verifies employment history and credentials of candidates.
- Negotiates and extends job offers to selected candidates.
- Builds and maintains a talent pool of qualified candidates for future job openings.
- Stays updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
- Provides excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with the Practice Leader and other team members to achieve recruitment targets and goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years experience providing customer service support or working in a professional setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak clearly in both positive and negative situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, strong time management skills, and developing realistic action plans.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Proven success at working well in teams and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in business or other related field
- Previous experience recruiting in the staffing industry
- Google Suite experience
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Certified Staffing Professional certification, or related.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- The person in this position needs to move about both inside an office and at other locations where meetings may be conducted.
- Frequently operates a computer for extended periods of time.
- Frequently communicates with others over the phone, video and in person; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
