Description
Essential Duties
- Demonstrate personal safety and help maintain a safe work environment for themselves and fellow members of the production team. Responsible for following all company safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to load and unload truck trailers in a timely manner.
- Maintain the organization and inventory of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.
- Maintain relationships with customers and carriers.
- Keep the warehouse (and facility) clean, organized and maintained.
- Communicate with team members and leads.
Requirements
Required Education & Experience
- Prior experience in material handling preferred including lift truck experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Position requires constant walking, standing and sitting.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Occasional bending, kneeling or entry into enclosed spaces.
- Must be able to lift and carry of up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to move with ease around manufacturing equipment.
