- Serves as the primary interface with Government leads, receives guidance, prioritizes work amongst the trainers, and ensures trainers'
deliverables are accurate, align with teaching principles, and on are schedule.
Expert in delivering training both in person and to a virtual audience. Serves as primary trainer for the Joint Staff Action Officer Course. Prepares
Joint Staff personnel to support the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's (CJCS's) Title 10 responsibilities of the U.S. Code by fostering an
understanding of the Joint Staff decision-making process and preparation of executive-level correspondence and analysis. Serves as the primary
trainer for the MILSEC course, to train and assist Military Secretariats to provide oversight of the actions process for their Directorate to meet the
CJCS's information requirements. For the Joint Staff Strategic Perspectives Seminar, provide classroom management and administrative support.
The Joint Staff Strategic Perspectives Seminar is a series of lectures by General and Flag Officers (GO/FOs) and Senior Executive Service (SES)
leaders. Trainers also support Brown Bags as requested on actions process specific topics, a writing seminar, and ETMS2. Execute all pre-course
tasks including registration, preparation of seminar roster using the learning management system, and preparation of name tents and activity trackers.
Execute all post-course tasks including surveys, analysis, and if necessary, scheduling re-training.

Candidate shall, at a minimum, possess a four-year degree
8 years of experience teaching or instructing on a variety of technical and/or process-related topics to include on-the-job technical training for a minimum of 32 students using instructor-led or virtual training methods.
Candidate shall have strong communications skills, to include oral and written skills, remarkable stage presence, and excellent organization skills.
Shall apply attention-to-detail in preparing JSAP-TP products and correspondence and ensure products align with Joint Staff writing guidance.
Candidate shall possess the ability to independently create or improve, when needed and approved by the JSAP-TP Branch Chief, informational material, to include but not limited to curriculum, handbooks, technical guides, how-to guides, pamphlets, for enriching learners' learning experience.
Candidate shall have experience in identifying, gathering, and incorporating lessons learned from a variety of sources, which increase Joint Staff personnel's potential for success.
Candidate shall have demonstrated experience in analyzing course surveys and incorporating findings into curricula.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Department of Defense experience, Joint experience, knowledge of ETMS2/Task Management Tool or other tasking tool platform desired.
