Primary Purpose
Support and assist all plant engineering functions to assure Generation facilities operate and perform reliably and safely. Assist in the performance of analytical services to the Plant Manager(s) and Compliance Administrator.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Plant Engineers in the development of operating, testing, and contingency procedures which includes troubleshooting. Support the collection of engineering data and performs analysis to identify potential developing issues.
- Support operation in a technical capacity of the plant within compliance/regulatory requirements. Collect plant data and assists the Compliance Manager in preparation of required reports.
- Assist Plant Engineers/Management Team with development of Capital projects for enhanced plant reliability and efficiency. Support verification of design intent is achieved and conducts performance testing of new or repaired equipment or systems. This includes maintenance requirements for new plant equipment.
- Support maintenance of technical library, which shall include instruction books, technical manual, and drawings for all plant equipment and systems.
- Assist Plant Engineer in the technical development of contract specifications and bid packages.
- Assist in development of annual budgets regarding technical activities. Share call-in duties with other plant supervisory personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
