What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Manager position at Senior Helpers - Fort Collins?
Senior Helpers of Northern Colorado/Wyoming has a fast-paced, dynamic internal team at our Laporte, Colorado office. If you have the ability and desire to build rapport and relationships with our direct caregiving staff, this is the position for you! Prior management of 50 employees required; preferably within the home care or other healthcare related field. Attention to detail and remaining calm under pressure is a necessity as our industry can be quite unpredictable and fluid requiring someone who can think quickly in stressful situations while always wearing a smile and carrying compassion in their hearts.
Pay Range: $55,000-62,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Hours: Mon-Fri, in office, 8am-5pm
Personnel Experience Manager Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit, analyze and promote open caregiver positions for Larimer and Weld Counties as well as Cheyenne
- Manage onboarding process and ensure compliance with all required onboarding processes
- Follow up with day-to-day inquiries from both active and inactive caregivers
- Handle complaints, concerns, needs, accolades about our care personnel
- Provide mentoring/guidance to care personnel according to policies and best practices
- Perform disciplinary action including, but not limited to verbal, written, terminations and creating necessary documentation for Human Resources
- Manage care personnel files and communications related to employment
- Present new hire orientation and on-going training
- Prepare new hires for the field by setting up mentor shifts, follow-up communications and feedback during the 1 week, 30-day, 90-day period
- Monitor and perform interviews, 90-day reviews, annual performance reviews
- Create monthly caregiver appreciations
- Recognize care personnel birthdays and milestones
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience within the home care or health care industry in a caregiver role
- 2 years of management/HR and training experience.
- Excellent, pleasant and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, resourceful, fast-paced learner with keen attention to detail.
- Tech savvy, comfortable with heavy email/text communications, Excel functions and all other Microsoft Office products.
- Must be a problem-solver and be a team-player during business hours and all other related events.
- Ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment!
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, health care administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience with a client/caregiver management system, text communication platforms and marketing platforms preferred.
