Responsibilities:
As a recognized ambassador to the organization, the Sales/Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for a host of tasks and ongoing duties, many of which will have quantifiable conversion goals. An ability to effectively prospect, achieve goals, identify potential referral sources and position Senior LIFE in a positive, pioneering light in the community and beyond will be critical to success in this role, as will alignment with all related responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing the center’s marketing plan, including the development of all marketing activities as part of the overarching annual calendar
- Managing marketing and promotional activities such as community events and Geriatric Service lines, in accordance with approved outreach calendars and departmental budgets
- Generating at least 15 new referrals each month, and securing at least six new referral sources, ensuring an ongoing stream of incoming members throughout the year
- Enrolling a minimum of two new Senior LIFE members monthly, and completing the initial intake process for at least six
- Executing 8 presentations/activities in the community a week with physicians, healthcare contacts, senior housing, and community non-profits .
- Maintaining an active outreach calendar that includes a minimum of eight presentations or lunch-and-learns for prospective members/families each week
- Building effective relationships with potential enrollees and caregivers, relevant agencies and providers in the community, specifically those tied to elderly services and supplemental target markets (i.e. physicians’ offices, hospitals, SNFs, senior services, health care providers, local and state government agencies, civic and business organizations)
- Promoting to LIFE/Adult Day program to the immediate community, identifying healthcare providers, prospective members and caregivers for inclusion
- Managing all marketing supplies and promotional/educational materials, including departmental collateral and outreach content
- Working with families and prospective members to determine medical and financial qualifications prior to enrollment
- Documenting all outreach and prospective member statuses, ensuring comprehensive, actionable records for immediate and future use
One of the first points of contact for members and their families is the Sales/Marketing Coordinator and, as such, this role requires a responsible, organized, articulate and, above all, caring professional to establish that critical rapport for those new to the Senior LIFE community. This broad-reaching role works with both internal and external teams, coordinating care as well as executing various marketing outreach, ensuring the proper communication, compliance and documentation the LIFE program requires to excel in its mission.
Qualifications:
The core of the Sales/ Marketing Coordinator position centers on evaluating new members, and onboarding them into the Senior LIFE community, with direct responsibilities including:
- Assessing prospective members’ needs and eligibility for enrollment
- Completing initial intakes for all new members, and documenting/maintaining all critical information for participants’ interdisciplinary teams
- Working select marketing activities designed to boost enrollment
- Responding promptly and professionally to all outreach from members, families and caregivers
Candidates should be competitive and self starters that thrive in team settings, have the ability to adapt to changing environments, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Healthcare marketing and/or sales experience is required, as is a proven track record of sales experience. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations is a plus, and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Vaccination from covid-19 is a condition for hiring.
