Great Opportunity in Franklin County!
SeniorsPlus has an immediate opening for a 40 hours/week Community Services Specialist working in our Wilton office. While this position is primarily based out of our Wilton office, travel includes our Norway and Lewiston offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- As a team member of the Community Services Department, this position will provide information, advocacy, counseling and assistance to older adults and adults with disabilities and their families in identifying and accessing support services in the community
- Plan for long term support services
- Identify programs and services to meet the needs of older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers
- Serve as a collaborative liaison with community health and human service organizations
Services are aimed at clients living within Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin Counties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in social service or related field
- Licensed social worker or eligible to become licensed
- One to three years community experience in case management, professional social work, nursing, gerontology, health or other related human services preferred
- Microsoft Office experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
