What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead- Patient Transport position at Sentara?

Assists the management team with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements through providing technical expertise within assigned area. Performs rounding audits, revenue audits, and provides input to technology procurement. Serves as technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities and daily support to team members.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Team Lead, Patient Transport at our Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

Hours/Shift: Full-Time, Weekend Days, Sat-Mon, 12 hr. shifts

Education Required:

High School Diploma

Certifications Required:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

Experience Preferred:

3 years Transport/Courier work experience
