Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Workers' Compensation Coordinator.

Position Status: Full-time, Days

Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (EST)

Work Location: Norfolk, VA

Minimum Requirements:

  • OSHA Regulation - 3 years required

  • Regulatory Agency Requirements - 3 years required

  • Regulatory/Compliance - 3 years required

  • Workers' Compensation Claims - 3 years required

  • Current knowledge of governmental regulations and community health principles applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety to include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA/VOSH), Regulatory agency requirements, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Job Description:

Coordinates the administrative functions of the workers' compensation program for Sentara Healthcare and manages the processes in compliance with all regulations and standards. Exercises good judgment and manages risks effectively.
