What are we looking for?
SentinelOne is seeking an FP&A Manager to support the Global Support and the G&A organizations as their Finance Business Partner. This will be a highly visible role, partnering with organizational leaders to optimize decision-making, leading the planning and forecasting cycles, and reporting on core financial metrics. The role will involve business partnering, ad-hoc analysis and special projects requiring detailed modeling to drive decision-making of senior leadership. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Corporate FP&A and Accounting team on executing the monthly and quarterly close and reporting processes, forecasting SentinelOne's consolidated P&L, and driving process improvements. This role will be reporting directly to the Director of FP&A. Come join a dynamic team and have an impact on SentinelOne's fast-growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and enhance the monthly expense forecast for Global Support & Services and various G&A functions
- Support these various functions in regular, cyclical, and ad-hoc strategic and financial planning discussions
- Develop, deliver and maintain insightful reporting for internal stakeholders to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business
- Identify, track, and report key operating metrics for each function
- Build excellent financial models, especially to assess potential initiatives undertaken by functional leaders
- Be the thought leader on how to drive efficiency in COGS and other important lines of the overall P&L
- Reduce the risk of surprises in the financials
- Initiate and drive process improvements that enable the FP&A function to scale
- Partner closely with the Accounting team for month-end and quarter-end reporting, driving cross-team processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results
- Partner closely with other internal groups such as HR, Talent, and IT to maintain visibility and accuracy of data critical to the forecast
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
- 4 years of FP&A experience with forecasting and financial cycle deliverables
- Excellent written, verbal, quantitative, and presentation skills; innovative, organized
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and forecasting skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
- Enterprise SaaS experience
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities and non-uniform workloads
- Experience with key business systems (e.g. Salesforce, Netsuite) preferred
