Seamlessly melding refined and rustic, vintage and contemporary, Michelin-starred Sepia is seeking a motivated experienced Private Dining & Events Sales Manager to manage the sales and booking of private events.
Private Dining by Sepia combines Michelin-starred cuisine by Chef Andrew Zimmerman, stylish design, and impeccable service into one intimate experience. Opened in 2011, Private Dining by Sepia is scheduled for a refresh this summer.
Candidates should have previous experience in successful, upscale dining (chef driven restaurant, boutique catering, etc). Working directly with the Sepia management team, this salaried position commission is responsible for the selling, planning and coordinating of social and corporate events, while generating new business relationships and further cultivating existing partnerships to ensure repeat business. TripleSeat knowledge is recommended.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience required.
Proven track record for establishing marketing/prospecting programs to drive event revenues while working in a team environment.
Proven ability in communication and negotiating techniques as well as a clear understanding of hospitality & exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent food and wine knowledge, a strong focus on hospitality. The candidates should have a desire to attend wine classes offered by Sepia's award winning wine director.
Creative, energetic outgoing personality with organizational skills and attention to detail. Must possess a desire and commitment for continuous improvement.
The position requires to work in person Monday to Friday, typically 9am to 6pm.
This role reports to the Managing Partner of Sepia & Proxi restaurants.
