Full Time Nanny

Highly Seasoned Live In Nanny Needed in Southampton for 3 independent children

Salary: 115k Health Insurance

Incentives: Paid Time off 4 weeks per year

Schedule: Kids are all in school so the schedule is split Morning shift 6:45-8:15am and evening shift 3pm-8pm

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent College Experience.
• Attire / Uniform: Polished, Professional Attire Required. This is a formal working environment and staff will need to dress accordingly - Clothing stipend at the start of Employment may be offered if needed.
• Minimum: 7 years as a Nanny / Family Assistant
• Language: Fluent in English. Must Read and Write in English
• Articulate, great at communication
• Attention to detail with cleanliness and organizing, light tidying, helping keeping kitchen clean, taking out garbage, etc.

• Drivers License - Safe Driver
• Polished - Fades into the background, Polite, well-mannered.
• Patient and kind; genuinely loves children
• Trustworthy
• Highly professional and pro-active, anticipating the needs of the family and children
• Works well with others, great personality, fun to be around, highly responsible, understands how to connect with older children
• Must be LGBTQ Friendly: Same Sex Couple, 2 women and their kids

Ages of Children: twins (boy & girl) 8 years old & a 14 year old boy

Most Important Aspects of the job:

• Capability - experience with fast paced households, great time management, effective problem solver, quick thinker, quick learner
• Attention to detail - You must be efficient and pay attention to small details and preferences of the Employer - this is very important to them.
• Ability to integrate into a structured, fun and fast paced household while being open-minded and supervising the children and their schedules
• Light housekeeping - cleaning up after the kids, encouraging them to make their beds, tidying up the kitchen, running the dishwasher, taking out the garbage if needed, doing laundry if you see it piling up, organizing the clothes
• Making sure that the kids clothes, shoes and items are all up to date, correct size, change their wardrobe seasonally (winter, spring, summer, fall apparel) ask them what they want and what they dont want to wear anymore if its old or doesn’t fit.
• Preparing their lunches the night before, having it in the refrigerator to take to school
• Making sure their homework is done, helping them if needed
• Understanding their individual personalities; the 8 year old twin really would love to have another girl around someone she can relate to because she has 2 brothers.
• Efficiency
• Safe Driver - a car will be provided by employer
• Great communication skills - Must read and write in English
• Personality fit - this is a job for a hard worker and someone keen on details with a pleasant attitude. They want someone who matches the energy in the home (it is a very formal but happy environment)
• Need to be tech savvy, someone who can communicate on the phone with the kids mom when Principles are traveling
• It would be great if Nanny is active with the kids if they’re playing but otherwise supervising them making sure they are safe and if you want to swim and play sports with the kids thats great but someone who can just care for them and their needs is important

Characteristics

• Trustworthy, someone highly conscientious at all times, the nanny will need to be very honest so the Moms can trust you with the kids safety.
• Kindness, the children the Employer does not want a nanny to discipline the children - they want the Nanny that is mindful of the kids feelings and kind to them.

Typical Day: Monday - Friday during the school year

6:30am nanny will need to be on morning rush is 6:45am until the kids leave at 8:15am until they get back at 3:15pm - Nanny can do house stuff while they’re out, take a break, prepare veggies and dinner for dinner (family is hiring a private chef to live in at the end of the summer)

6:30-6:45am: breakfast, kids get dressed

Out door by 8:15am: ideally the nanny will drive them to school, 12 mins from the house mom is up in the morning usually if she is not traveling, if shes away her partner is usually around - nanny should have all the food ready for them to go to school (prepare the night before)

End of day - backpacks with food ready to go the next day, make sure their homework is done and ready to go in their backpacks

During the day while the kids in school - Nanny errands, grocery shopping, sometimes they will unload fresh direct, packages and organize the items that get delivered, laundry, make the beds if the kids didnt encourage the kids to do this,

Housekeepers come a few times a week
