What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatrist Medical Director position at Serenity Healthcare?
Serenity Mental Health Centers is seeking an experienced Medical Director to work in an administrative and clinical capacity. As a company leader, your role will include (but not be limited to): mentorship/guidance of other providers, creation and implementation of best practices while maintaining a successful interventional psychiatric outpatient practice. The candidate selected for this role will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer of Serenity. Please see below for additional aspects of this position:
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible (and willing to become certified) by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Licensed (or willing to become) in corresponding state of clinic location
- Previous or demonstratable leadership experience of at least 2 years
- Unencumbered DEA / Clean criminal background
- Green Card holder or United States Citizen
- Some travel required (preferred location Dallas-Fort Worth but open to Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City)
- Experience in utilizing TMS and I.V. Ketamine

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company onboarding and training policies for new providers
- Stay up to date with literature/protocol for TMS & I.V. Ketamine
- Oversee growth strategies and mentorship of assigned clinical providers (psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners)
- Individualized treatment plans for new and established patients via in-person appointments.
- Provide patients with hope in the form of non-invasive neuromodulation (dTMS), Ketamine infusions, and diligent medication management.
