Service Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager in our Salem Walmart branch where you will manage employees and resources of a branch office in an effective and efficient manner within Credit Union policies. Responsible for the management of staff in the recognized branch or branches. Required to interview and hire appropriate candidates; as well as, perform annual evaluations on current subordinates. Makes recommendations regarding disciplinary actions and terminations to AVP and is responsible for communicating those decisions to employees.
Pay: Salaried position. Based on experience.
Hours: Full time, based on Branch operating hours and coverage required.

The Day to Day:
- Supervise the operation of a branch office exercising good principles of organization, prioritization, and personnel management.
- Assists in staff selection, training, and development.
- Works to set and meet goals including but not limited to loan production, new member development, and new checking account production.
- Maintains the security of the branch.
- Provides exemplary Member Service through knowledge of the Credit Union products and services.
- Understands the corporate goals and the branch required goal production to achieve these goals.
- Has a thorough understanding of all Service CU products and services in order to cross-sell those products and services which will serve the needs of the member.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Superior working knowledge of all credit union policies and procedures, branch office functions, and duties of all subordinate personnel.
- Aptitude for detailed work and problem-solving adeptness.
- High degree of skill in supervisory techniques and member service duties.
- Ability to work well with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
- Ability to work all hours of branch operations, including weekends, as applicable.
- This is a leadership position and requires the full commitment and dedication the role and team.
- Works independently and is able to perform position duties without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years Financial Industry experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
