Position Overview
This position will provide day-to-day account support; specifically, the oversight and management of all key customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, hardworking, efficient, and detail-orientated with a “can-do” attitude. Other essential skills include problem-solving, multi-tasking, proper phone etiquette, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, develop, and support customers, chain accounts, distributors and end user distributors via phone, in-person and through email
· Manage the pricing, quoting, and expediting of orders; effectively schedule customer deliveries.
· Have a good understanding of Company products, pricing policies, competitive market, and mill sources.
· Facilitate customer problem resolution by coordinating internally to establish a company response
· Provide guidance and assist in training of customers and field sales representatives through one-on-one interactions and/or on-site classroom style trainings
· Ability to understand complex relational dynamics and navigate those relationships professionally and effectively
· Support upper management and Business Development Managers and provide organization-wide communication.
· Support inside sales department with training to obtain and maintain accounts.
· Participate in design and production problem resolution.
· Plan and coordinate will all functions of the business including quality, purchasing, planning, and operations.
· Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
·Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field; previous steel/metals experience strongly preferred.
· Steel tube, pipe, and bar experience a plus
· Strong customer service and sales aptitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
· Adept to change in a fast-paced environment
· High energy and drive, strong business and data analysis skills, excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills
· Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
· Self-motivated, high energy and positive attitude
· Must be teamwork-oriented and able to build strong customer relationships
· Working knowledge with Microsoft Suite, most notably Excel and Office

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
