The Technician is a first-responder to residential and commercial properties affected by damage or disaster. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack outs, content processing/deodorization and content storage and handling.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Water extraction and mitigation
- Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
- Vandalism, crime scene and biohazard clean up, demolition and light construction
- Structural board-up and site stabilization
- Carpet cleaning and on location cleaning
- Content handling/storage, unloading/loading trucks
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of vehicle, equipment, material and consumables on job site and warehouse at all times
- Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables and tools
- Complete all necessary paperwork including daily progress report, moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial or restoration field is a plus as we respond to emergency water and fire damage for residential and commercial customers.
- Valid Drivers License with 3 years clean driving history in order to qualify for our auto insurance.
- Self-driven, detail oriented.
- Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to the work.
- A desire to serve our customers and a passion for teamwork!
- Excellent customer service skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Two weekends per month of additional after-hours availability.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs
- Ability to work overtime hours as required.
- Excellent customer service skills- must be a “people person”!
- Must consent to pre-employment screening including a drug test and background check
- DMV record check if offered a position with the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
