What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at ServiceMaster?

ServiceMaster by Moline is a community-oriented family-focused company that serves our community in water, fire, and mold care in addition to providing janitorial services.

We are seeking a business development manager who will organize the business growth and development of our offices in the Bismarck region. This includes a base salary of $50,000 with various incentives tied to revenue growth and services added. Additional incentives exist for meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales Focus:

  • Build and nurture relationships within assigned verticals to drive sales growth.
  • Utilize a company-provided vehicle for customer visits and relationship building.
  • Coordinate CE classes and community events to enhance brand presence.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets in a sales environment.
  • Maintain a Priority Customer List within our verticals for strong relationships.

Operations Management:

  • Provide general oversight of job progress, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Utilize job management systems to track and report on job progress.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Restore on staff output.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, utilities, and vehicle upkeep for an optimal working environment.

Key Qualifications are:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing guidance to teams, fostering a positive work environment
  • Experience in operations management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
